We are a non-profit membership organization dedicated to educating and inspiring New York City family enterprises and their families to build long-term, sustainable enterprises and healthy family relationships.
The New York City Family Enterprise Center, Inc. (NYCFEC) is an independent, membership nonprofit organization dedicated to its mission:
“To educate and inspire New York City’s families and their enterprises to build long-term, sustainable enterprises and healthy family relationships”
NYCFEC serves the greater NYC area as a dedicated, on-going educational resource for all parties in the family enterprise system. Our goal is to help everyone understand family enterprise systems and advance everyone within the system, including all family members, board members, management, shareholders, trustees and key constituencies. Members benefit from a truly neutral, safe environment, as well as expert-led, practical education, curriculum approach and training programs and sessions. To provide additional respect for privacy during sessions, members do not have to disclose their full name or identify or provide any information about their family business or family. No solicitation or commercial influence is permitted by any NYCFEC faculty or attendees.
NYCFEC’s activities, memberships, programs, scholarships, and sessions are granted without regard to age, race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, military status, sex, disability, marital status, domestic violence victim status, gender identity and criminal history. NYCFEC provides a limited number of scholarships to the smallest family businesses and discounts to members of select NYC area community nonprofit groups.

Current NYCFEC Special Interest Groups include: Senior Council, Next Gen, Family Trustees, and Family Board Members.
For the smallest family businesses, please fill out the contact form on the NYCFEC website to inquire about a NYCFEC Scholarship. Scholarships are limited. Memberships with a scholarship include one individual from the family enterprise system, one NYCFEC assessment, one NYCFEC Passport*, scholarship level discounts on other activities, programs and sessions, access to selected member only events.
*One NYCFEC Passport provides free entry to a NYCFEC NYC area educational program or session. NYCFEC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any activity, program or session at any time, and other restrictions may apply. Passports expire at the end of each annual membership period.
